Idolatry and power.
Political power, economic power....are they the new idols?
Television, wealth,clubs, perversions...can the man of our time be free of new idols? Can man see God? Can man listen to the beautiful sounds
of nature?
Or will he be swept away by the cement or by globalizations? Will man lose his history, tradition, sentiments?
We will not lose the memory of our origins, our dialects, our history even if globalization with its many negative aspects, also has some advantages.
But if globalization means to be subordinate to an elite of bureaucrats of different nations in which politics is in crisis, it is not acceptable.
Because this is the main problem we think, the crisis in participating in the political life of modern democracies.
It doesn't mean that modern democracies do not have credibility, but that globalization necessitates a profound consciousness of the world-destiny
by the industrialized nations.
