Educational News: MIT. 5 May, 2001 Siena   In April the President of MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) Charles Vest announced that all the courses of the famous institute will be free on internet. This new is called Open Course Ware (OCW). The benefit for humanity may be immense. It seems a paradox to present the expensive courses of the institute. Is this a madness? MIT community wants to benefit humanity. We don't think that this is a strangeness or a simple charity. We think that OCW will stimulate the institute to renew its bank of knowledge, it is a simple way to compete with itself. Moreover, MIT will be an internet point of reference.
