Stock Exchanges are cracking up, why? 23 March, 2001 Siena Stock Exchanges are cracking up, why? This is the current puzzle for worldwide investors. There are a lot of opinions: some people think that it is a transient crisis, others that it will be a long time before seeing again the past quotations again. If we analyse the causes we feel we are dreaming. Only six month ago the American economy was so strong!!! The voices of economic analysts, questionable manoveuvres of the FED make us suspicious that politics ( in the general sense) has a great influence on everyday life, on our savings. Furthermore we must remember the hard competition between the new economy and the old economy entrepreneurs. Different work rhythms and philosophy divide them, also if sometimes the old economy industries have invested in the new economy. We'll see. TO HOME PAGE The New Era
