The 334th Fighter Squadron is based on the actual unit from the 4th Fighter Group of World War Two, who surpassed all other groups in the total number of German aircraft destroyed. Our pilots carry themselves with honor, integrity, and will strictly follow the ROE.
We fly for all those who lost their lives over Europe. By piloting virtual fighter aircraft we to keep their experiances alive so no one will ever forget the sacrifice they made.
We are currently recruiting pilots to fly IL2. We are planning to start offical squadron activities after the add-on for IL2 is released which will give us our much desired P-47 and Spitfire. Hopefully the P-51 will come later in a game update. Our matches will consist of vitual battles against other squadrons flying at full settings w/ padlock. This way we can get a better idea what the air war over Europe was like during WWII. |
