Vince is a gynecologist in Naples and Mario is a lawyer here in Milan. I am sure they are both okay (except for some minor thinning hair). 12/01 Tracy Moore '87 Email = Tracyfry@home.com Message = Hello, Tracy Moore, now Fry here. I was in Naples from 1981-1987. For more information: Call Christy (757) 471-2376 or Christymc1@aol.com 12/01 Johnny Callahan, class of '75 Email = callahanjd@hotmail.com Message = I read a news today, oh boy... As I was feeling sad about the passing of George Harrison yesterday, a forgotten memory came to mind. I thought of a sunny Saturday morning in Naples when my friend David Wrede (class of '75) came over with his guitar and we figured out how to play "while my guitar gently weeps", and we both thought that we were really cool dudes. I know I could call any of my guitar buddies from Naples right now and know that they feel the same pain as me at this moment, that bond gives me peace. Johnny Callahan, Class of '75 12/01 Tom Ross FSHS Class of 1974 Email = tomross@usfamily.net Message = Hi folks, I was lost but now am found. Aug 17th my computer was indirectly struck by lightning and I lost everything on my Hard Disk so Life has been intense sense and we have relocated to the twin cities I lost most everybody's e-mail address so any you send me would be appreciated. If it wasn't for JP's I'd have really felt out of touch. JP when you coming to the twin cities to act at the Guthrie Theatre. It'd be worth paying Big bucks to see you on stage. Buddy I was watching the video of our trip to Sulfa-tara. I can't believe it I don't think I've walked that much up hill since FSHS. Sounds like Joyce is warming up to the idea of 5 more years. Who's going to join me in Naples in 5 years? I don't think I've had more fun ever in my life. Thanks for the memories, planning committee and can you believe it they just sent some of our money back. What a class Act. Everybody who remembers Steve Anderson write him until he visits this bulletin board his e-mail is...ska! nders@quik.com. All of you Leave ladies, you're as wonderful grown up as you were when we were kids trapped in the motel looking for something to do other than chase lizzards. Take Care everyone. You are loved. Tom 12/01 Janette Thornton Email = bjach@aol.com Message = I found this website tonight (last night) and have spent hours pouring over it! What fun to see the pictures from the reunion I didn't know about! My favorite picture was the one of the school...memories flooded my mind! Sure looks smaller than I remember. I am aware of the where- abouts of Cameron Quinn, Scott Widder, Anne Widder, and Tammy New, and will be sending them all info about the reunion for next year. We are all of the year 1976, except Anne, who is of 1974, I believe. I was there'69-'72. Unfortunately, we recently found that our friend Irene Shields passed away 3 yrs ago. My brother, Jon,class of 1974, also passed away in 1983. 12/01 Tom Carson Class of 1973 Email = twbgcrsn@nexband.com Message = Here is my monthly posting to see if anybody out there from the 1973 senior class is around.......John Villanova, Joe Pursch, Joe Scioli and such....... 12/01 Kevin Fetzer 74 Email = kfetz1@mindspring.com Message = Hey Tom Carson, I remember you. Specifically, I remember you on the educational cruise alot of us took to Southhampton, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Leningrad and Moscow aboard the good ship Nirvana. You were in the talent contest and you played Neil Young's "Heart of Gold" on guitar and harmonica. You were tremendous, in fact I believe you won the contest. I know there are some other shipmates of ours out there who may remember that 2 week cruise. Remember the little Indian deckhand that would come up to every table and salute everyone, saying "Good morning, good morning, good morning...." to everyone at every table. I remember us (americans) getting in trouble for not making our bunks or keeping clean quarters. The Brits referred to us as "those bloody, boisterous Yanks." Anyone else have any memories of that trip? 12/01 Forrest Sherman Elementary School in 1958 Email = jfglidden@home.com Message = Does anyone have recollections of Forrest Sherman Elementary School in the late 50's? I attended 3rd grade there in 1958, lived and played nearby but don't seem to have an accurate memory of the surrounding area. Is the school in the same location? Does anyone have pictures, street maps? On rare occasion I will experience the right combination of espresso, baking bread and diesel exhaust, and once again I am running the war-torn streets of Napoli with shop owners shaking their fists and yelling, "Americano, molto cattivo!" Not exactly Tom Sawyer, but I did my best under the circumstances. 12/01 Lisa (Grewe) Tignor, Class of '79 Email = lisatignor@aol.com Message = The two brothers killed in the WTC were Vince and Andrew Abate - friends of my in-laws. (Abate must be a common Italian name.) It's good to hear that "our" Abate boys are doing just fine. Happy Birthday to David Flick! 12/01 Nick DeJesu 1976 Email = ndejesu@ti.com Message = Sorry I missed the Naples 2001 Reunion. Would like to go back to Naples for a week to 10 days this year - anyone interested in a quick trip back? The airfare from DFW to Naples is currently around $478 round trip. (12/2001 prices). We can stay with Ed Ryan, as I'm sure that he wouldn't mind us sleeping on his balcony (on via Posillipo). Any interested parties please e-mail me at: ndejesu@ti.com. 12/01 Alex DeTonnancourt class of 1975 Email = Alexaswin@telus.net Message = Yes, Kevin, I have good memories of that cruise. Nirvana? I think it was the Nevasa. I don't remember the talent show, but I sure wish I did!. I remember the dance on deck and the Indian crew member who could put cigarrettes out on his tongue! Yeah, gross. I made some nice friends with some of the Welsh kids that went on the cruise with us and I remember John Copeland getting lost, we thought, in Tivoli Gardens and everyone going mad looking for him only to discover him back on the ship. HE'D thought we'd gone back without him, poor kid. I think the guys gave him a major wedgie for that infraction. It was only 10 days but felt like two weeks and I wish I still had all the pictures I took. Just think, we were in the USSR when it was still the USSR. Class of '75 RULES!! hehehe 12/01 Alex DeTonnancourt '75 Email = Alexaswin@telus.net Message = Hey! Alda Apicella are you out there ANYWHERE? Haven't heard from you since about 1985 and was wondering how you are. Write me!!! Love you all, Thanks for the most wonderful memories. 12/01 Louie (Buddy) Cartee class of 74 Email = suthern23@aol.com Message = Hello Terry Brown. If you're not too ashamed to remember The Rocket club caper, this is one of your former partners in crime.I think I still owe you some money from that deal.I've turned out ok and managed to stay out of jail, wait a minute, no i didn't, but it was only for a couple of hours. You were missed at the Napoli reunion and I did bring up your name with our fellow 74 classmates. If you don't remember my face, look on the green yearbook cover. That's us cheering for the wildcats.Love to hear how you are doing and hope to see you in Naples in 5 years. On a sad note I'm sorry to hear about Jon Thornton's passing in 1983.I believe he used to hang with Chip Taylor and Ernie Copenhaver alot.Janette, your brother and fellow wildcat will be missed.Take care all. Louie. 12/01 Carey J. Tibbetts '76 Email = TIBBScj@hotmail.com Message = Wow Kevin, you have once again stirred up some old wonderful memories. I also participated in one of those educational student cruises. This one was during the summer of 1973. We bused it from Naples to Rome, then flew to London and bused it to Liverpool. The USS Nevassa set sail out of Liverpool for the coasts of Spain, Portugal, and The Azores with our group on board, and probably hasn't been the same since! I have even found the photos! Dr. Williams (red headed science prof) was our student chaperon for the trip. For those of you who may remember her, you know that we had a good time frustrating her with our antics and our giggling.I even got "tipsy" for the first time in Lisbon (Medeira wine I believe). We did some kind of American cheerleading act for the talent show.... "two bits, four bits, six bits a dollar" for each and every country represented on board (God, how HORRIBLY mortifying). Looking back, that's probably what sent me to the wine... Thanks for the r! eminder. C.J. 12/01 Aubrey NEWELL Corcoran Email = abcorcoran@islc.net Message = NAHS Graduates from 1992 to 1996 we are having a reunion in 2002.
