Thanks to the 1400+ visitors to the website in 1999, and I hope to see a continued interest in the problem of homelessness in Fort Lauderdale in the year 2000.

I am chronicling my experiences for those interested in learning about "breaking the cycle of homelessness", a quote I like from the resource development director of the HAC, Ezra Krieg.

Below is a diary of my activities.

I spent time with my landlord, as I usually do every Monday. Today we went to the Peer Center to get business cards printed for the new web design venture. The temporary website is at http://www.oocities.org/websitestars and the permanent website will be at http://www.website-stars.com.

I will be taking time from my website design work at Galaxy Furniture to attend a job open house at J&M Enterprises in Deerfield Beach on Wednesday. I have already sent them a resume via e-mail and will try to leverage my extensive mainframe IBM experience as well as my more recent PC and website skills.

I also noticed while I was at the Festival Market that Wheel of Fortune is going to have a special event on June 10-11 from noon-4PM. I presume it will be a contestant search, so I will go out there and try out, if I'm not thrown in jail first after the court case.
