| This page is to help RWS owners and others do tunes and mods .NOTE: spring guns can be very dangerous when taking apart.And you could make your warranty invalid.Check warranty before hand.And use caution at all times when working on air gun.You need a spring compresser to change springs.These are pretty easy to make .Go to my top link and check his out. I don't have any pictures at this time. Tiggers can be set at very low poundage.So after adjustments test with care.You do any of these tunes at your own risk.If you do not feel sure about working on your rifle.There are a lot of airgun techs online.I for one do not want to see anyone get hurt...Use common sense..With all that ,said.I have done trigger jobs to both my RWS 46 and 54 I have not had the spring pro tuned or change and have have no trouble with them.However,it's common on the bigger spring guns to have screws come losse on any brand.Check them offten and some loctite may be in order.But,use very little and they have different types so use the one that just helps hold the screws .So you can lossen them if you ever need too.I use the blue and it sure helped hold on my muzzlebrake on the 54. Just don't get the stuff inside the barrel.This is way I did mine.Take the muzzle break off. then just put some loctite around the barrel where the back of the muzzle break will side over it .This way you won't get it in the barrel.Then put some on the screws that hold the break on.And let gun set over night to dry.Thats it...Be sure and check my links .These guys covered a lot.I will be adding stuff so check back .. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
