| General information for volunteers |
| Being in the starting stage, PRANA offers a lot of opportunities to the volunteers of many diferent professions, skills, talents and abilities. From the carpenters and plumbers to the doctors and nurses we need you all but you have to be flexible. In other words you have to be willing to do any necessary task (but no one will be obliged to do physically heavy work) Itīs like in the small business; you are the manager, accountant, plumber. It takes lot of determination as things not always go smooth at the beginning. * Contribution to the PRANA is minimum $ 600 for month or part of it for adult and $300 for accompanied child. There is up front (refundable) registration fee for every participating person. Registration fee will be returned to you (discounted) when you pay on arrival your monthly contribution. THIS MONEY COVER TOTALLY ALL YOUR EXPENSES.The only extra money you have to spend are money for your pleasure. Part of this money goes also to support PRANAīS operation. Contribution is not refundable. * Accommodation is the dormitory type, separate for males and females, basic but clean, safe, comfortable and in friendly atmosphere. * We are the only foundation accepting volunteers with children. Possibility of accepting children depends on actual numbers of volunteers and always have to be pre-arranged. * Food is a continental type and is sufficient. We donīt serve vegetarian food but it is possible for vegetarians to prepare his/her own food here. WE WILL ACCEPT YOU WITHOUT ANY PROFESSION BUT BELLOW WE LIST OF THE SKILLS WE NEED MOST AT THE MOMENT * All kind of tradesmen * Computer skills * Internet and web design experts * Doctors, dentists and nurses * Different children activities organizers and coordinators * Fundrising experts and participants * English, art, handicraft and different activities instructors or teachers * Minimum time comitment. There is no minimum time comitment but there is minimum contribution comitment of $600. If you are staying one day or one month you have to pay minimum monthly contribution * There is no maximum time commitment:15% discount apply to volunteers, who like to stay over 6 months and pay in advance. * Spanish language requirement: It will be nice if can communicate in Spanish but we will accept you without it. Anyhow, you can learn or polish your Spanish in the hands-on way. * What you should do next if you want to volunteers with us: 1.Fill up and submit volunteer' s application form .Aditional information if necessary write on separate page. 2. Pay $50 (refundable) registration fee 3. Scan and send any diplomas or certificates of qualifications or licence (if applicable) 4. Scan and send your photo . We will contact you as soon as possible. 4. Final approval you can receive upon sending by E-Mail copy of your airline ticket with destination to QUITO, ECUADOR. * FOR VOLUNTEERS WHO WANT STAY FOR LONG TIME WE CAN ARRANGE VISA.
