These pictures will primarily focus on southern New England,
but I will add more regions whenever I can or damn well please.
Connecticut
US 1 North looking into downtown New London with signage for CT 213.
New London looks kind of nice from here - it's not.  Route 213 - like much of the city - isn't marked very well either.
CT 159 at the eastern terminus of CT 75 and 305 in Windsor Center.
During work, I went out of the way to get to a site in order to check out this intersection. There is a lot of this diagrammatical signage around suburban Hartford.
CT 198 South at the western terminus of CT 244 in Eastford.
Went to high school near here - there is nothing in this area of Connecticut.
CT 4 West approaching the eastern terminus of CT 118 in Harwinton.
This sign is an oddball with the old school designation and the white panel.  There is one further up on Route 4 West, but I couldn't get it.
CT 8 North at the western terminus of CT 20 in Winchester.
Very nice how there is some direction for those heading to US 20 in Massachusetts, some fifteen miles to the north.  Sorry about the blurriness.
CT 19 North at the Massachusetts border.
A bit blurry, but this where Route 19 crosses from Stafford to Wales.
US 44 West at CT 8/183 in Winsted.
Connecticut uses the New Hampshire style signage quite often for duplex intersections.
CT 179 North junction signage at US 44/202 in Canton.
Not only like New Hampshire signage, but wrong.
CT 97 North at US 6 in Hampton.
Close to my house - seen this intersection hundreds of times.
CT 82 East at the southern terminus of CT 354 in Salem.
This area of Connecticut is growing very rapidly.
Interstate 84 East at US 6 West in Newtown.
Have nothing interesting about this one, just like it.
Interstate 84 West approaching CT 34 in Newtown.
Bridgeport is a dump.  Don't know why people would want to go there. They should have signs to avoid Bridgeport.
CT 14 West at the eastern terminus of CT 14A in Sterling.
There is absolutely no signage telling the state line between Rhode Island and Connecticut, in either state.  This intersection is pretty much the only way you'd know.
Kilometer distances on Moosup Pond Road in the Wauregan section of Plainfield.
This is at the CT 12/205 intersection.  There is another one of these signs in Plainfield, and that one is on a side street - never seen any others in Connecticut.  I'll put it up soon.
Rhode Island
US 6 East approaching the Interstate 95 interchange in Providence.
The very nice and convenient Providence Place Mall is in the background.
Exchange Street approaching US 6 West, RI 10 South, and Interstate 95 in Providence.
This is leaving the Providence Place Mall.
US 1 North at the southern terminus of RI 2/112 in Charlestown,
Typical broke ass Rhode Island signage.  A nice drive up Route 1 though.
Exit signage on US 1 North for Wakefield Center.
Rhode Island also doesn't use advance signage very well.
Intersection of RI 1A North and RI 108 South in Narragansett.
I like this area of Rhode Island a lot.  I want to open up a bar down around here.
RI 102 North split with RI 3 North in Exeter.
This is newer signage...still not very impressive, but less crappy than normal.
Exit signage on US 1 South for RI 1A and RI 108 in Wakefield.
Funny, going northbound on US 1, there is no mention of either route in the signage.  Might be helpful for beach traffic.
New Hampshire
The new Home Depot in Keene has brand new NH 9 error signage.
I heard something about NHDOT retiring the Man on the Mountain signage.  Maybe they're starting to phase it out.
NH 9 West at the eastern terminus of NH 9A in Chesterfield.
I like Spofford...a nice village right on a lake.  NH 9A keeps it pretty quiet.
This is entrance ramp in Keene of NH 9/10/12 from West Street.
Traffic on this road is getting very, very busy nowadays.
Split for NH 63 South and NH 119 West in Hinsdale.
I decided against going to the dog track...there's one near my house in Plainfield, CT.
Massachusetts
MA 2 East approaching MA 122 in Orange.
This is a road for the out-of-the-way route from my house in New Hampshire to Connecticut.
MA 63 South at MA 10 in Northfield.
The MA 10/63 duplex runs down Northfield's quaint Main Street.
MA 75 North at the MA 57 highway in Agawam.
Six Flags New England is a little way up the street.
Interstate 84 East advance signage for its ending at the Mass Pike in Sturbridge.
This signage is very new, at the most a year old.
Interstate 84 West advance signage for US 20 in Sturbridge.
This is heading back to UCONN from Boston.
US 202 South TO MA 9/116 in Pelham.
This road provides access to downtown Amherst and UMass (what a dump that place is).  It's about five miles to get this point.  The signage is probably for people unfamiliar to the area, but should at least say TO MA 9/116.  Like most in central/western Mass, US 202 is an awful road.
New York
Interstate 87 North advance signage for Interstate 84 and New England.
Nice to see that I'll be home soon.
New Jersey
Interstate 78 East off ramp signage for Interstate 287 exits near Somerville .
There was a lot of kids from this area going to school at College Park.
Pennsylvania
PA 29 South advance signage for Interstate 78 and PA 309 in Allentown.
Friend of mine lives right near here.
