The Darkest Hour Comes Just Before...Dawn
When I was born in December of 1981, I suffered nerve damage in my left arm.  I have been forced to live with Erb's palsy ever since.

After a biopsy on Monday, May 24, 1999, I was diagnosed with
Hodgkin's disease.  After six long months of chemotherapy, I entered remission.
These are just two of my many life struggles.  I want other people who face them to know they're not alone.  There is a place to turn.  I know every case varies, but if I am able to help just one person deal with a similar problem, I feel this Web page has served its purpose.  Why remain silent when I can help?
Above all else, remember to never lose hope.  After all, the darkest hour comes just before dawn, and oddly enough, that's my first name!
Please leave your thoughts about Erb's palsy, Hodgkin's disease, cancer/chemotherapy, or even just my Page's concept in my Guestbook, as well as read what others have had to say.

What's new?
~On 6/28/04, exactly five years and one week since my first chemo treatment, my doctor graduated me to yearly checkups, as after 5 years it's rare the cancer will return!

On 12/29/03, I was declared four years cancer-free...that's the way to be!  After five, it is the "C word." Here's to one more!
