| A dove's diet consist almost entirely of seeds form cultivated fields and weeds along a fence line. Doves generally do not feed in areas containing heavy, densely-matted vegetation. Dove thrieve where grain crops are growing and require ope or semi-open lands. If you are hunting in the afternoon, it is usually adventages to hunt near a body of water. Dove will normally feed in the morning and in the afternoon will head to the nearest watering hole prior to heading to the roost. The best times to hunt dove are early morning when they are traveling to food and in the evening when they are heading to water. Best hunting areas are large, open cultivated fields containing several bodies of water. |
