2 duck breast cut up                            3 gloves garlic
                             1 tablespoon shortening                       1/4 cup chopped parsley
                             2 tablespoon flour                               24 oysters, shelled
                             1 cup chopped onion                           boiled rice

Sprinkle duck breast with salt and pepper. Melt shortening and stir in flour. Add onion, garlic and parsley. Cook this mixture until onions are done. Add duck and brown on all sides. Add 2 quarts of water and cook duck until tender. Add oysters and cook until the edges start to curl. Serve with rice.
