| Hitomi has a very realistic personality, something very rare to anime. She's shy, but she has a temper. She's afraid, but pushes herself to do the right thing. She's reserved but is prone to random displays of affection. She's honest, but will tell little white lies to benefit herself. She's just your everyday contradictory teenager. Hitomi acts shy around her crushes, open around her friends, nervous around stangers and angry around the enemy. She knows what's right but will sometimes think of herself first. She screams normal awkward teenager. She wants love and friendship. She wants what's best for others but benefitting herself isn't too bad either. She wants to be the good guy, the do-gooder. She doesn't like being critized or under-estimated and will make herself be heard. I think a lot of people like Hitomi because they can relate to her. Crushes on older guys, falling in love with your close friend, having weird jealously/anger directed at you for no reason, it's all in being a human being. She's the kind of person you want to be friends with. A lot of TnE fans seem to hate Hitomi too. With some it's her hair, but mostly because she has two men fighting over her. I guess it's her personality too but I think she's adorable. She's not real but Hitomi has something about her that makes her special. |
