| Sakamoto Maaya is really quite amazing. Though still in her early twenties she has five CDs out and is a famous Japanese voice actress. She is also in a singing group named Whoops!! with Higuchi Chieko. Her first role was as Hitomi when she was 16 when most seiyuu are in their late 20's to late thirties. She was the yougest seiyuu to have a main role in a popular series. Her first concert was on June 25, 2000, when she was only nineteen years old. She also has a history with CLAMP. First she did the final ending to Clamp Campus Detectives, then the opening to the third season of Card Captor Sakura. She even played Mu in the second movie. She then went on to play the main character in Clover, Suu. Though both Lucy and Easy Listening were released in 2001, Sakamoto-san has been working as a seiyuu as well. She has had about 25 anime roles, and 20 game roles since she first started. She has even played a character in the popular hentai game, Kanon. FYI: All Maaya songs under the Victor label are composed by Kanno Yoko The last track on A Girl in Gaea or the hidden track on the Hotch Potch CD, Call Your Name, is written by Maaya and is dedicated to Hitomi Her favourite colours are pink and brown Her shoe size is 23.5 cm She dislikes melons |
