a lphacinhas is a space where English and Portuguese speakers can advance their cultural and linguistic knowledge of Continental Portuguese. The group is composed of native Portuguese speakers who practice their language and English speakers who want to learn it. No fees and/or membership dues are required to subscribe or participate.
In between our group meetings, we keep in touch via our Yahoo Group and/or our brand new blogging spot. Fortunately, you don't have to be in New York to ask us questions about language, grammar, translations, culture, etc.
