Story :
   A competition was held every Age in the Clan of Feueralfar wherein the winner was awarded with the gift of Pyromancy or divination by fire. The competitors were the clan-members within their 2nd Age who were willing to go through the perilous quest to attain this gift. One has to successfully cross the Cavern of the Flames, and retrieve from it a Breath of Fire from the sacred Torch of the Phoenix inside the chamber in the hearth of the cavern.
   The cavern was heavily guarded by the *Guardians of the Flame, Water Elves, hence traps were abundant inside their territory for these elves knew of this competition. There were times wherein all contenders failed, some died in their pursuit, others yielded.
   Moonfeather, being a half-breed was not allowed to take part in the competition. Her best friend, Dranix persuaded her to join, to be able to purify herself from th curse of the spirit of the *Unicorn, which manifested itself through the horn in her forehead when she was still a child. It was said she was *borne of a Wind and Fire elf, thus the curse. The Breath of Fire was said to be able to restore any Being bearing the element of Fire to its purest state, though this had not been proven due to convention.
   The trail toward the cavern was known only by the Elder, a Pyromancer himself. The legitimate competitors were brought there with their eyes covered, only a rope which connected them all guided them through the trail. Since Moonfeather was illegimate to join, Dranix had persuaded her to stealthily follow the competitors, Dranix being one of them, toward the cavern.
