The Girl of the Legend
- Later, Miaka, her best friend Hongo Yui, and 2 other girls , Fu and Mori, walk down the street talking about high school exams. Yui asks Miaka to go to the librairy with her.
- While waiting for Yui to return a book, Miaka goes to a juice machine, but drops her coin on the floor. As she reaches for it, a red bird flies over her. Curiously, she follows it's trail up to the Important Documents Reference Room.
- As Yui comes a book falls from the shelf in the room. The book is entitled "The Universe Of Four Gods". Yui says it's an ancient Chinese novel, and starts to read it: "Thus, the girl of the legend opened the door of another world. This is the story of a girl who gathered the Seven Sei of Suzaku. She obtained omnipotent power, and made ever wish come true. The story itself is an incantation. Whoever finishes reading it will recieve this power. As soon as the page is turned, the story will become truth and being."
- As the girls wonder what all the stuff means, a red light luminates from the book and they find themselves in a strange world.
- Miaka whines about how there is no cheeseburgers around, and they get attacked by traffickers (men who sell woman). Before anything bad happens, a man with an "orge" character on his forehead appears and kicks the crap out of the 2 men. The girls watch in awe.
- The men flee. The man asks if they are okay, and asks them to pay him. Realizing they have no money, he walks off and says that he hates poor people.
- Yui runs after him, but dissappears into that strange red light again.
- Miaka manages to find some money to pay him, but they are both gone by the time she find some.
-Yui finds herself back at the librairy with the book in front of her. She reads......but what she reads is exactly what just happened to her and Miaka! She also sees an illustration of the man with the orge character and realizes that it wasn't a dream.
- Miaka, who is now on a cart in search of the man, thinks about how handsome he was but thinks he kidnapped Yui.
- Upon arriving in a city, she sees the man, runs towards him, but loses him. But she still manages to get herself something to eat.
- Miaka goes around asking if anyone has seen a handsome man with a character on his forehead, with no luck. Depressed, she ponders as to where she is, when a man comes up and tells her to follow him. For the man she is looking for is a friend of his. Excited, she follows him.
- In another part of the city, 2 men are talking about rumors of a strange girl roaming around town. The man with the character on his forehead overhears them and asks if there were 2 girls. He replies that there was only one, so the man figures that it's not the girls that he helped out before.
- Turns out that the man Miaka was following is a street thug, and leads her to his gang. In an attempt to protect herself, she makes a "sailormoon" type speech and beats the crap out the guys with some pro-wresting moves she saw on TV.
- Despite her efforts, the thugs attempt to rape her, but the man with the character comes and saves her.
- Miaka has finally found him.
