For many years now I have run a small business (Midnight Music) as a DJ.  I have had all sorts of fun with this doing everything from weddings to parties to you name it.  Below are pictures of memerable moments in Midnight Music history.
Figure 1: Often times friends of mine will help out when I have a big gig.  This is Marie at a hick town wedding spinning up some tunes.  Other guest DJs have been Anar, Anja, Eddie, Melissa, and Mike (alphabetical... I can see Mike getting mad that he was mentioned last [now he has been mentioned twice, so I guess that makes up for it]).
Figure 2a, b: These are from a boat ragatta that I DJed on lake Ontario.  They couldn't pay me much, but they gave me a campsite all weekend on the beach and free meals.  We had a blast all weekend.  The guy on the left is Alf Bicknell, he was the Beatles limo driver for most of the time they were famous, and their friend after the stopped recording.  The person on the right is Don "Thomas," he is on most of the volleyball leagues I play on.  He is an incredible musician, and almost made it big when he was younger.  He is the one who is getting me started with my recording gear.  His wife Teri also plays Vball with us, and is a great graphics design artist.  She helped me so much with the design of my brochures (and with my volleyball technique!).  The both support each other in everything, they are by far the happiest couple I have ever seen.
PARTIES!!!
Figure 3a: Juar teaching Sankha how to salsa dance at a holloween party at my place.  I don't know how we pulled it off, but we had nearly 20 people in the place and it never really got crowded (it might have had something to do with Melissa not realizing the power of my fog machine and smoking everyone out!).
Figure 3b: Jeff, the ultra-conservative, willingly partaking in a game of Twister at Lakshmi's Diwali party (a traditional Hindu festival).  I am pretty sure that Twister is a major part of the ancient tradition and is the proper means of celebration (I could be wrong though).
Randomness in Pictures (Entrepy?)
Figure 4a:  My sister Laura and my Brother-in-law Bob with their new born baby Zachery.  This picture was taken at Bob's sister Barbara's wedding reception (yes, I was the DJ).
Figure 4b: Baby Z has gotten a bit bigger now!  This pic was just too cute not to include.
Midnight Music
Figure 5a, b: Akron Park, one of my favorite places to go.  This place is so beautiful first thing in the spring when the snow starts to melt and there is an overabundance of water (not to mention that there are slides and swings to entertain those of us that are more easily amused).
Figure 6:  I had to put one geek pose in here I suppose (you can't spell geek without EE).  Here I am in my undergrad days working on senior design.  My hair was once 1/2 way down my back in my early undergrad years, and is now significantly shorter than seen here.  At this rate, I should be bald in 2 or 3 years.

I was told that it would never look as good as a store bought desk... Guess I proved him wrong (you know who you are).  See for yourself.
