HEY, THAT'S SOME GOOD BUM FLUFF      (page 1 of 3)
Various owner comments:
"I'm still running the stock exhaust on my FZR because I can race in more classes, and because I think aftermarket ones are much too loud and totally unnecessary for the street. As far as horsepower on the racetrack, all I can say is that I regularly pass riders with aftermarket exhausts. I'm convinced the money is better spent on a weekend or two at the track or riding school."

"I can't say enough good things about my FZR. It has been through racetrack miles, roadracing miles, commuting, touring and even off-roading expedition. So far everything is bulletproof. I will never get rid off it. Only a wicked rebuild is in the future, though I do find myself drooling over the new YZF750."

"I could have bought a more expensive bike with better all-around better performance (CBR60CF2), but I have always liked the looks of the FZR. It's performance could be a little better, but it's not obsolete."

"I have been planning the purchase of a new sportbike this year. And loyal follower or not, I have to say that unless Yamaha decides to jump back in the race for the title 'Meanest Sportbike on the Block', I will have to go with the reigning king, the Honda CBR900RR."

"There's nothing quite like being awakened at 6:09am by the sinister sound of your motorcycle being revved by another man's hand. My bike was secured by one of those imposing cobra-links and I thought I was in good shape. The joker that stole my FZR  started the bike, revved it up, and whammo! The rear wheel ripped the cobra-link in two. I would not have believed it if I didn't see it from my bedroom window.Don't waste your money on one of those pricey locks."
