Chauncey has been with us now for over 8 years - he is around 12 years old.  He can sit, lay down and stay on command  -- if food is involved!!!  His favorite thing to do is go for a ride with his head out the window so he can bark non-stop or sit infront of "his fan" on a warm summer's day..

Chauncey found this "formula" for ridding anything of skunk. It was in a column we read in the Cape Cod Times.  The column is called "Pet Connections" written by Gina Spadafori.  The formula: 1 quart 3% hydrogen peroxide, 1/4/ cup baking soda and 1 teaspoon liquid soap.  Mix and IMMEDIATELY apply to smelly pet.  Rinse with tap water.  DO NOT MAKE THIS UP AHEAD!!!!!!!! Why?  Keep reading. The chemist who she credits for this, Paul Krebaum, is not making a mint off of this because the same chemical reaction that makes this work soooooooo well also will make it explode in a closed container.  Gina says its better than tomato juice or store bought items.  If you get a chance to use this, e-mail Chauncey with the results.
