I myself draw the line at raving homosexual shows like "American Idol" although bouts of insanity have lead me to watch Survivor: Thailand every once and awhile. However, nothing pisses me off more than people getting upset over dumb things to do with dumb shows like "American Idol" and then think that they can sue because of some case that has some vague similiarity to their complaint, that has won in the past. CONFUSED? Let me break it down for you.
An old man, 50 years old, wanted to try out for "American Idol." Folks, in case you don't know, there is an age cut-off, I think it's 24 years old. When he gets rejected because of his age. He wants to sue. Okay, now I have a problem with that. PRIVATE CONTESTS which even though it is done in public it is private because a private contest is anything not done by the gov't, are allowed to discriminate age. If this wasn't so then I want to join the beautiful baby contest and sue when they disallow me. Or I wanna try out for Miss Black America USA. Just in case that old man is reading: FUCK YOU AND GROW UP. I cannot imagine some old man getting so worked up about this. I thinks it's just some damn ploy to get money. I mean, let's suppose he does get on.....could you imagine him having a heart attack after his dreams are crushed by Simon? Since this may be a family trait, I can just imagine the lawsuit. The family would claim MALICE on Simon's part. Besides, while it might be for a good laugh, we don't wanna see an old man with arthritis "getting jiggy with it" or even singing my "My Heart Will Go On" by Celine Dion. American Idol is a contest for the next (pretty much) pop star. You have to sing, dance, and last long hours without having to have someone empty your colostomy bag. Imagine the the sheer fright audiences across the world would experience because the man had a heart attack during a dance number, or from the joy of winning. Point is, he's too old, if he hasn't made it by now, he's not going to, so SHUT THE FUCK UP AND STOP WHINING.
