| The Rain | |||||||
| Short, sweet, to the point. That would accurately sum up this weeks topic, but I hardly believe it will sum up the rant itself. But hey, I could be wrong: it's been known to happen on occasion. For once, my ranting is not going to be about how horrid and reprehensible the topic is. This time around, it's about how much awesomeness rain totally reeks of! Yessiree, Bob! Rain is sooo awesome! I mean, honestly, don't think about it. But do consider this: it's lots of fun to just sit and watch it, an- what do you mean, you don't find that fun? Go to hell. I'm easily amused. Moving on... it's great to dance in! Now, I'm no pro dancer (can you really make a living doing that?? Serious?) but I can sure as hell spin in circles to rival anyone you've ever met! Third: it's just so damn fun to stand out there and get soaked! Seriously, Dr. Giggles, have you ever tried it? It's got to be one of the greatest things I've ever done! If you watch ALIAS, you'll have seen eps (most notably, Dead Drop) where it's totally pouring rain, and someone gets totally soaked. As I sit there and watch those episodes (this is usually about the 4th viewing) I just wish it would rain like that out here in Murrieta- what do you mean, where the hell is Murrieta?? Whatever. At any rate, today, I finally got my wish... sorta. About 25 minutes ago, it let loose out there. So what did I do? I grabbed my boots and ran outside! Then, it started pouring, so what did I do? I ran inside, grabbed a jacket, and made a beeline for the backyard! Usually, in a situation like that, I would skip the run-inside-grab-jacket part, cuz that just ruins like half the fun right there. But just before it started pouring, I was finishing up applying temp. tattoo ink to my arm in a very lovely design, and I didn't want it to wash away. So the jacket was a necessary evil. Now, the rain that was just out there was still nothing compared to what was on ALIAS, but it was still awesome. I spun in circles, glared at neighbors giving me odd looks, and chased my dog for about 10 minutes, until it started letting up. Then I felt the need to come rant about how VanDam awesome the rain truly is. So, there you have it, Captain Slappy. My first ever rant about something that makes me happy. I hope your day is full of rain and clouds ~The Dictator Herself, Gabs Hardy |
