Catahoula Rescue
(Click for information about the group)
Catahoula Rescue is not currently taking or fostering dogs.  I have been rescuing Catahoulas myself in Georgia, as my only foster home and sole support.  However, I'm having a baby and will not be rescuing until at least the end of 2004, maybe longer.  I tried to find foster homes to help during my time out but have not been successful. If you are with a shelter and have a Catahoula who needs placement, you can email me a bio and photo (or Petfinder link) and I'll cross-post to the national group.

If you are an owner with a Catahoula you want to give, please understand that there are too many dogs and not enough homes.  Most dogs that end up in shelters never make it out.  There is no room in foster care for your dog; you are his or her only hope.  If you'd like advice on working through any issues or behavioral problems, feel free to email me, but please don't contact me about taking your dog.  I'm not able to do so at this time.

Catahoulas may sometimes be availabel for adoption through AARF (link above)
