THE BOOK OF REVELATION
This book tells the History, Present-time, and Future of
the Lord's Church.
It covers about
3,000 years.
John was instructed to write these letters to the seven churches of Asia which belong to Jesus. He was warning them to do better and reminding them of the promises they could receive if they would overcome. We can read these letters and see what was happening to; the early church as it was slipping into the wilderness or the outercourt . We are supposed to; learn from their mistakes and make sure we follow Jesus' instructions.

John received the book of Revelation which was signafied by the angel. This book was not meant for all men of every sort to interpret with a plain carnal mind, but, to be revealed unto his people by the spirit of an overcoming heart. They were to know what was about to take place and how the church was going to go through changes and that it would be restored .
Revelation gives us an approximate time period for the return of Jesus to receive the remainder of his Bride. This was for the early church people to know as well as us today. This is also a time-table for the people during the next thousand year period. They will be looking for the Holy city and God coming down from heaven unto them. Jesus is not coming just any time, but, according to God's plan.
Rev. 4-5 is a preface of the Book of Revelation. John saw the throne of God and all living beings around him worshiping and praising him. Rev.5:11-14
This is seen at the very end when everything is finished.
The seven seals are the revealing of where all these saints came from. It starts with the early church which includes the resurrection in Matt. 27:50-52 continuing on to our day and during the next one thousand years which includes the general resurrection. Rev.20:5,12

The first six seals Rev.6 deals with the Firstfruits, the 144,000 saints Rev.14 which started with the early church continuing until the 2nd coming of the Lord.
The last seal
Rev.8 deals with the workings of the church during the 1,000 year period.
Rev.7 is a preface of the 7th seal. The 1,000 year period includes The Bride ruling with Jesus, the Devil being locked up in the bottomless pit, sealing of the 144,000 Jews and all those that are saved during the great tribulation. Plus, the working of the Seven Trumpets and Vials, the general resurrection, and the destruction of all evil doers and the Devil and his angels.

The Book of Revelation not only reveals things about the church but those who come against the Church..
Rev.17 tells about the beast having seven heads which are seven different nations. They all had control over God's people in history. Rev. 17:10-11 Five are fallen and one is [Roman Empire] and the other is not yet come. [Papal Rome] . The eighth is the one he sees here in Rev.17 coming after the likeness of the last Power.[our time]
Reading Daniel 2 gives details of the Image of a man made of different materials representing different kingdoms that were to rule. It starts with Babylon, then it goes down to the Meads  Persians, then to Greece, then to Pagan Rome, (a joint at the knees), then Papal Rome. The iron and clay will be the next beastly system. It does say that there will be a kingdom [the church] that will never be ruled again by man and never go out of existence. It will be an everlasting kingdom. This will happen during the feet kingdom.
The Lord's church will condemn the Great Whore and the beastly system that is to arise here in our day. There will be a calling, Come out of her, my people and come unto Him. Rev.18:4 Who is her? She is Babylon the Great a place full of false religions banding together to build a strong tower with a name that everyone can come under and call a safe haven with the backing of the Ten Kings.
Rev. 17:12-13 This will only last for one hour [15 years] then it will be destroyed.
Jesus has only one place for safety and that is in His church,The Body of Christ, where He is the head over his ministers. 1Cor.11:1-3 God is the head of Christ, Christ is the head of Man [minister], and man the head of the woman [the church].
The Book of Revelation is a blessed book from God himself to those who are willing to conform to his way of living. Rev.2:17 Jesus said ,To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna.
