GODHEAD PERFECTION LIFE ETERNAL REPENTANCE LAYING ON OF HANDS COMMUNION FAITH IN GOD |
TWO IN THE GODHEAD |
There exists two persons in the Godhead: God the Father, and His only begotten Son. The Holy Spirit is not a person, but is the essence (Life-Spirit) of God Himself. God the Father only inherently has immortality. The Son of God was first a created being, and was given immortality at His resurrection by the Father. |
THE GOAL OF OUR LIFE..PERFECTION |
Perfection is the Goal for which all must attain. Perfection (living without Sin) is required to live in the presence of God the Father and His Son, Jesus. We must put on the New Man and let the Old Man die. We can live in our mortal body without committing sin through the Holy Ghost Baptism and the Word of God. |
LIFE ETERNAL |
We believe if you keep Jesus' word or covenant we will never see death. We know that In Jesus who ever lives his life and believes in Him they shall never die. We believe those in the First Resurrection are Overcomers (those who are sinless, blameless, righteous, and fulfilling scriptural qualifications) and will never experience a physical death. It is only to the fearful, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, whoremongers, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, which shall burn with eternal judgment: which is the second death. While we will have to lay our mortal bodies down, we will not have to lay our soul in the grave. We know that a corruptible human being, can put on incorruption. We know that a mortal human being can attain immortality. By doing so Death has no victory. |
REPENTANCE FROM DEAD WORKS |
Confession of sins is equivalent to repentance from sins, which entails both a rejection of sin and a positive response to God or a turning from sin to God. Jesus' proclamation of repentance related repentance closely to the arrival of the kingdom of God and specifically associated it with one's acceptance of Him. Those who received Jesus are the truly repentant. In His name repentance and forgiveness were to be proclaimed to all nations. Repent ye therefore, and be converted that your sins may be blotted out when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord. We are then granted repentance unto life. |
LAYING ON OF HANDS |
Laying on of Hands is a commandment directly from our Lord and Saviour to the Body of Christ. Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues. They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. We as members of the Body of Christ do so. |
COMMUNION: |
The term describing the nature of the Lord's Supper. We believe Jesus has asked us to share in his life and death through the eating of the bread and drinking of the wine, which creates a relationship of Christ and the believer. It likewise creates a relationship for believers with one another in a partnership or unity of faith. We do this, as commanded, as often as we elect to do so in remembrance of Christ. |
FAITH IN GOD |
Faith in God means to have a revelation of God and his family and His promise of Life Eternal. From that, revelation springs forth in loyalty to God to whom you are then bound by promise and duty. Faith is devotion. Faith without works is dead. You become steadfast, dedicated, dependable, and worthy of trust from God. A faithful people keep Gods commandments and God keeps in turn his covenant. |
