3/29/02 - Curthaitheach - GRR!!!!!!!!
I haven't found enough time to update the website so a lot of things aren't up.  I might have some up later today if I find the time.  Once more, not all the links are working so if we have too many broken links, we will be shutting down the website to the public and it will become a private website and we'll be reporting this problem to geocities (this will only be temporary until the links work)..

- Cruthaitheach - Updates in Translated Texts
For some reason, only a couple of my links have been working, we're fixing that today as well as adding one more song, Lord, I lift your name on High.  We were going to add Harry Potter stuff but it seems inappropriate since this week is Holy Week for Christians.  My Buddhist friend is going to give me song Buddhist quotes and songs to translate also for you Buddhists out there.  We are working on Shout to the Lord, Holiday in my Head, All Star, In The End (which, since it's Gothic/Rock, will definitley not be posted this week), etc. ALSO ON FRIDAY AND/OR SATURDAY WE ARE ADDING GOOD FRIDAY AND POSSIBLY EASTER HYMNS
.

2 - Cruthaitheach - Updates in Lessons, Games, Translator, AND Translated Texts
We are working on translating the Lord Of The Rings (Part I) movie script which is approximately 73 pages long (I know it sounds short
but this is the whole three hour movie).  We are also putting on a couple songs later tonight.  A couple of times you will find the Translator link up for a couple of tests.  We are also working on a couple of games, our first game up is going to be up as soon as possible because it teaches pronounciations so you can read Gaeilge outloud.  Lessons aren't as important as my notes because my notes summarize the lessons.  You will probably get more information, although, if you read the lessons.  We will have some tests eventually, they are open book because we can't really stop you from looking up the answers, but please do not look up the answers.  We want you to focus on the pronounciation in the lessons so you can speak Gaeilge.  WE focus on learning Gaeilge the fun way (which is not having to do lessons and take tests) and that is why we don't care if you focus on the vocabulary or not.

- Cruthaitheach - Grand Opening
Hi there and welcome to Gaelic Central.  This website is for people who like Gaelic and/or Ireland.  We will help people learn Gaelic through games, translated texts, translators, and more! I am currently working on a translator (English-Irish) and I hope I can have it finished by the end of 2002's summer.  We might not get any games up until that time either so we'll only have translated texts (Harry Potter, LOTR, The Hobbit, Wayside School, and possibly some in others only has one-three pages from each book) etc. until (the latest) St. Patrick's Day of 2003.  The Irish website version will be teaching English the same way though it probably won't have any translators.  All the other languages will be the same except they will teach Irish AND English.  We don't plan to have thoughs websites up before 2004.  THAN
KS FOR COMING!
