"Twenty minutes till day break, the last of the night stars are now fading to the early, ever lightening gray morning sky. The boat is already in the water and right before you think about firing it up you hear a loon call out from a distant bay. As you turn around and look all you can see is the gentle steam rising off the glass like water. You hear the sound of a fish, jumping, just down the shoreline. The sounds of birds and bullfrogs start to get louder as the morning continues to lighten. There is a breeze, but ever so slight, not enough to disturb the surface of the water. Then you start the motor, slowly back away from shore, turn around and JAM on the gas. The quiet morning is then ripped to life by the motor screaming and you are on your way. Could it get any better...." |
