HOW TO GET THE PASSWORDS-A TUTORIAL

well there are diffrent reasons for stealing the passwords like some people may want to have administrative rights in there hands and some want to get passwords of their friends.in this article i try to mention two techniques for stealing passwords.they are:-
SOME TECHNIQES:-
1)Breaking BIOS passwords:-well if the security option in target computer is set to the "system" then a user must enter the password each time a computer boot.so if u want to break this password then first u must have accsess at user computer .if the security option is not set to system then simply boot the computer and follow the steps mentioned bellow:-
a)go to DOS prompt
b)type DEBUG then press enter u will get ' -' prompt.
c)type following code
-a
-o 70 2e
-o 71 ff
-q
now u will again reach at dos prompt and ur BIOS password is BREAKED!!!!
2)To break windows LOGON password:-well i think most of u know about this techniqe.BUt i include this for newbie. windows store its passwords in *.pwl file.so simply find and delete all the *pwl files on computer.now next time when window asked for logon password then simply enter the password of ur choice.
these PWL file has a specific format ,later i will wrote in detail on this topic.
SOME TOOLS:-
1)Keyloggers & Similar Trojans :
install a keylogger which notes down all the keystrokeson user's computer and then mails them to you.
If he ever signs in into his yahoo or rediffmail or hotmail account, his username and password will be sent to you.(http://www.littlesister.de/)
2) Social engineering :
simply create a email id such as subscription@hotmail.com and send this mail with the subject "Confirmation request".

For this one needs to know how to send anonymous emails. A good anonymous mailer can
be downloaded at http://tech.deep-ice.com/MystiqueMail.zip. Then You need to create a
hotmail account which sounds similar to confiramtionofactivation@hotmail.com
or re_confirmation@hotmail.com. Then send a email from "Hotmail Member Services"
to your victim with the following message ...

Login ; Password ; Date of Birth ; Country
Accounts not confirmed shall be rendered terminated. MSN Hotmail sincerely regrets the inconvenience caused to its clients.
