And the network that gave us the original
WKRP series provides another example itself of what might qualify as comedy, but, again, perhaps only in a philosophical sense.
      In 2005, Paramount was producing both
Entertainment Tonight and The Insider. But, by then, Paramount was owned by Viacom, and Viacom also owned CBS, the network that had originally produed WKRP.
