Michael Allen passed away this morning at 3:30 a.m. at the home of his son, 143 Webster St., following failing health for the past two months. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 7, from St. Patrick's Church at 9:30 a.m. Rev. W.E. Wright will officiated at the service and interment will be at St. Michael's Cemetery. The deceased was born April 24, 1861, in the town of Westford, a son of Mr. and Mrs. David Allen. He was married to Augusta Pobanz, in 1892, and she preceded him in death in 1903. His second marriage to Mrs. Margaret Ledrowski took place at Beaver Dam in 1909, she also preceded in death in 1948. Surviving are two sons, and one daughter, Frank C. Allen, Beaver Dam; Mrs. Myrtle Kaczkowski and Clarence Allen of Milwaukee; eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Alols Schweiger, Beaver Dam, and five step-children; Perry Ledrowski, Horicon; John and Stan Ledrowski and Mrs. Harriet Mierer all of Milwaukee and Myron Ledrowski of Chicago. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church, and of the Holy Name Society of that Church. Others preceding in death were two daughters in infancy and two step-sons. Friends may call at the Briese Co., Funeral Home after 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, until the hour of the services. | |||||||||||||
