Edward Van Buren was born April 21, 1883 in Alto Township, Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin, and died January 27, 1955 in Waupun Memorial Hospital, Waupun, Dodge County, Wisconsin.  He married Jennie Beek September 27, 1905 in Calvary Presbyterian Church, Alto Township, Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin.  She was born Abt. 1883, and died Abt. 1935.

Funeral services for Ed Van Buren, 71, Route 1, Fair Water, were held Monday at 2 p.m. in the Alto Reformed church. The Rev. H. B. Popial officiated at the services and burial was in the Alto cemetery.
Mr. Van Buren was born April 21, 1883, in the town of Alto, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Van Buren. He was married to Jennie Beek on Sept. 27, 1905, and the couple resided on a farm in the town of Alto for many years. Mrs. Van Buren preceded him in death.
Survivors include one son, Ellison with whom he had resdied, three sisters, Mrs. Cornelius Bronkhorst and Mrs. John Vossekuil, Waupun, and three brothers, James, Fair Water, Aldert, town of Trenton, and Arthur, Waupun. Two brothers and two sisters had preceded him in death.
The body lay in state in the Kohls and Giebink Funeral home until Monday noon, when it was taken to the church to lie in state there until the hour service.

FOX LAKE - Ellison Van Buren, 90, of 204 Forest St., Fox Lake, and formerly of Waupun, died Thursday, March 12, 1998, at his home.
The funeral was Monday, March 16, at the Kohls Community Funeral Home, Waupun. The Rev. David Klanderman officited. Burial was in Alto Cemetery, Alto, Wis.
Mr. Van Buren was born May 2, 1907 in the township of Alto, Wis., son of Edward and Jennie (Beek) Van Buren. He was married to Florence Loechelt on Oct. 1, 1931 in Alto, Wis.
He was a lifelong resident of the Waupun area, owned and operated a local farm in the rural Waupun area until 1957, then moved to Waupun and was employed as a saleperson for Landall Brothers Farm Implement Company and later at Waupun Auto Sales until his retirement. In December of 1995, he and his wife moved to the Barrett House in Fox Lake.
Survivors include his wife, Florence Van Buren of Fox Lake; cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

MARKESAN - Florence M. Van Buren, 90, of 1130 N. Margaret St., Markesan, died Monday, Nov. 1, 1999, at the Markesan Resident Home.
The funeral was held on Wednesday, Nov. 3, at the Kohls Community Funeral Home, Waupun. The Rev. Ted Medema officiated. Burial was in the Alto Cemetery.
Mrs. Van Buren was born May 20, 1909, in Fairwater, daughter of Otto and Augusta (Riemer) Loechelt. She was married to Ellison Van Buren on Oct. 1, 1931, in Alto.
She was a lifelong resident of the Waupun area, was a member of the Alto Reformed Church, Alto and after moving to Waupun in 1957 was employed at the Christian Home in the housekeeping department. In 1995 she and her husband moved to the Barrett House, Fox Lake and later she moved to the Markesan Resident Home.
Survivors include nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ellison on March 12, 1998; five brothers, William, Fred, Herbert, Edward and Henry Loechelt; and three sisters, Hadie Loechlt, Ella Barry and Molly Sobecki.
