BRANDON  Gary D Rens. 45, Route 1, Brandon, died Thursday, April 18, 1991, at Ripon Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Rens was born July 20, 1945, in Fond du Lac, thc son of George and Marjorie (Loomans) Rons. On Feb. 14, 1969. he married LaVerne Loomans in Waupun. Following their marriage the couple lived in the Brandon area all their married life where he was engaged in dairy farming. Presently Mr. Rens was employed by Brandon Farm Service in Brandon. He graduated from Brandon High School in 1963.
He was a member of the National Guards from 1964 to 1969. He was a member of the Alto Reformed Church in Alto where he had served as a deacon, past Sunday School teacher and managed the Alto Reformed Church soflball team and member of the Mens Chorus.
Survivors include his wife LaVerne: one son, Jamie (Cheryl) Rens, Waupun; one daughter, Julie Rens of Pickett and her fiance Andrew Wittchow of Ripon; his mother, Marjorie Zacharias and stepfather Gordon, Brandon; one brother, Douglas Rens, Las Vegas, Nev.; two sisters, Patricia (Jerry) Kreckow, Waupun, and Gloria (Larry) Mulder, Brandon; maternal grandmother, Elizabeth
Loomans, Alto; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Ethel & John W. Loomans, Waupun;
aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father in 1969, paternal grandparents and maternal grandfather.
Funeral services were held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Alto Reformed Church in Alto with Rev. Robert Otto officiating. Burial followed at Alto Cemetery in Alto. Visitation was held on Sunday from 4-8 p.m. and Monday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
