Henrietta Hopp was born August 25, 1904 in Alto, Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin, and died December 01, 1998 in Christian Home, Waupun, Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin.  She married Charles Navis August 12, 1927 in Alto, Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin.  He was born February 19, 1900 in Iowa, and died February 19, 1988 at Waupun Memorial Hospital, Waupun, Dodge County, Wisconsin.

WAUPUN - Henrietta Navis, 94, of 331 Bly St., Waupun, died Tuesday Dec. 1, 1998, at the Christian Home, Waupun.
The funeral will be Thursday, Dec. 3, at 10:30 a.m. at the First Reformed Church, Waupun. The Rev. Rick Boon will officiate. Burial will be in Brandon Cemetery, Brandon, Wis.
Mrs. Navis was born Aug. 25, 1904, in Alto, Wis., daughter of Henry and Jane (Van Loo) Hopp. She was married to Charles Navis on Aug. 12, 1927.
She was a lifelong resident of the Waupun and Brandon area, an active member of the Bethel Reformed Church, Brandon, and employed as a custodian for a number of years. She was later a member of First Reformed Church, Waupun.
Survivors include two daughters, Gladys (Myron) De Young of Markesan, and Sharon (Richard) Peters of Markesan; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and one brother, Clarence (Marie) Hopp of Waupun.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles; three children, Harvey, Milton Navis and Junice Smits; and three brothers.
Friends may call on Thursday, Dec. 3, from 10 a.m. to the time of service at the First Reformed Church, Waupun.
The Kohls Community Funeral Home, Waupun, is serving the family.

Charies Navis, 88, 127 Fond du Lac St, Waupun, died Tues, March 15,1988, at Waupun Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Navis was bom on  Feb. 19, 1900 in Iowa, the son of Gerritt and Mary (Hoffman) Navis. He was married to Henrietta Hopp on Aug. 12, 1927, in Alto. He farmed in the town of Waupun until 1953. He was employed by Rueping Leather Co., in Fond du Lac, Wis. and retired in 1968. He was a member of the First Reformed Church of Waupun.
Survivors include his wife, Waupun; one son, Milton (Ardell) Navis, Waupun; three daughters, Junice (Gordon) Smits and
Sharon (Richard) Peters, Waupun, Gladys (Myron) de Young. Randolph; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Andrew  Navis, rural Brandon, George Navis, Waupun; two sisters, Della Damsteegt, Waupun, Kate Elgersma, Randolph.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, one grandson, five brothers and one sister.
Funeral services were held on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. from the First Reformed Church, Waupun, with the Rev. Irven
Jungling officiating. Burial was in the Brandon Cemetery. Visitian was held on Wed. from 5-8 p.m. at Kohl's Funeral Home,
Waupun and at the church on Thurs. from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.

Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral Home, Altamonte Springs handled the arrangements.
A memorial service will be held for Mr. Navis at the First Reformed Church, Waupun on Saturday at 2 p.m. Rev. Dykhuizen will officiated.
