Herman Frens, 76, 128 E. Mackie St., Beaver Dam, died Sunday, Sept. 16, 1984, at the Beaver Dam Care Center.
The funeral will be at 8 p.m. Tuesday from the Murray Funeral Home, with the Rev. Harold Kuesier officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
Mr. Frens was born in May 13, 1908, in Waupun, the son of Henry and Mary (Van Buren) Frens.
He was a retired employee of the Weyenberg Shoe Company, Spring Street plant.
Survivors include one daughter, Mary Ann (LeRoy) Hess, Beaver Dam; four sons, Harris Frens, Juneau, Wesly Frens, Hawaii, Martin (Mary) Frens, Beaver Dam, Kenneth Frens, Colorado; one granddaughter; three brother, Sidney, Gsrry and James, all of Waupun; one sister, Johanna (Clarence) Vanden Hoek, Sheboygan, Wis.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son Alfred in 1982.
Friends may call from 6 p.m. on Tuesday until the time of the service at the Murray Funeral Home.

- BEAVER DAM—Adela Frens, 86, died Thursday, Feb. 17, 1994, at the Beaver Dam Care Center, Beaver Dam.
Mrs. Frens was bom July 30, 1907, in the town ofWilliamstown, Wis., the daughter of William and Anna
(Schwartzmiller) Nitschke. She married Herman Frens Feb. 11, 1927, inWaupun.
She has lived in Beaver Dam since 1928, after moving from Reeseville, Wis. She worked at the Griesbaum and Tasty Bakeries in Beaver Dam for many years, and was a member of
St Stephen Evangelical  Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam.
She is survived by one daughter, Mary Ann (Leroy) Hess, Beaver Dam;
three sons,  Harris  Frens, Whitehall, Wis., Wesley
Frens, Beaver Dam, and Kenneth Frens, Denver, Co.; two grandchildren; nieces, nephews,
other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Martin Frens; three sisters, Gladys Nitschke, Hazel Nitschke and Elaine Dornfeld; and three brothers, Elmer, Harold and Frank Nitschke.
Funeral services were held on Saturday at 11 a-m. at the Murray Community Funeral Home, Beaver Dam, the Rev. Leon Ehlert officiating. Interment was in Oakwood Cemetery, Beave Dam. Visitation was held at the funeral home on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.

RANDOLPH - Wesley Frens, 75, of Randolph, died on Monday, June 7, 2004, at Continental Manor in Randolph, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Private inurnment will be held at Oakwood Cemetery, town of Beaver Dam.

Wesley was born on Oct. 1, 1928, in North Fond du Lac, the son of Herman and Adela (Nitschke) Frens.

Wesley worked at Weyenberg Shoe Co. for many years before moving to California, where he worked as an electrician for the Radio Corp. of America. He then moved to Waikiki, Hawaii, where he worked for the Kapuni Corp. as a maintenance services manager. Wesley was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survivors include one sister, Mary Ann (Leroy) Hess, Beaver Dam; one brother, Kenneth (Paula) Frens, Colorado; one sister-in-law, Mary Jane Frens, Beaver Dam; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers, Martin, Harris and Alfred Frens.
