My mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 1993 when she was 79 years old. She is now (in 2002) eighty eight and still going strong. I started a journal shortly after she was diagnosed to follow the progress of the disease. I have decided to share my journal with you. Humor has played a large role in helping both mom and myself to cope when things get tough. I hope my notes will help you in some way.
