| Youngest of the three daughters of Percy and Bertha Galkoff. Devoted daughter to her parents and loyal sister to her siblings. A favourite aunt to her seven nieces and one nephew, on whom she showered love and attention. One of the jobs she had was a supervisor in a large store in the West End of London. Nettie was artistic and enjoyed painting. She was very domesticated and excelled at cooking, and was chief birthday cake maker of the family. She traveled to France to visit the family that lived there. Unfortunately she suffered from an illness which plagued her from the age of a young adult. Sadly, she did not marry and died at 52. She was laid to rest in Southport Cemetery alongside her parents and brother, Leon. |
