| Several years ago I visited my first Sheep Dog Trial at Hubert Bailey's Farm and fell in love with the Border Collie and the unique and wonderful Shepherds Crooks some of the Herdsmen were carrying. I bought two Border Collies, came home bought some sheep and started looking in the woods for sticks to make into Shepherds Crooks. This is where it has lead me. I now spend my time with my dogs or I am in the woods looking for shanks or in my Stick Shop making Shepherd Crooks, from materials that me and my good friend Tony Phillips have imported from some other country. Some of these Walking Sticks and Crooks are for sale and some are just for me to put on the wall and look at, I love them. |
