We have also been talking about making the players start as level 0 farmers or something. Then something bad happens (like giants squirrels killing everyone) and then they get to make there stats etc.
We also pondered the idea of a diobolical evil lord guy, but we scratched that cuase its been done before. We also desided to just make it an adventure, not a campaign.
