This weeks Digimon / Digidestined is Tommy / Kumamon
This week Tommy receives the award of Digidestined / Digimon of The Week. Since the start of Digimon Frontier, Tommy was almost always afraid of everything. However, after spending time in the digital world and being able to come home for such a long time, Tommy learned to do things on this own and not to depend on others as much. Tommy has since kicked off his fears of just about everything and has become a stronger person because he now has the 'will power' to do things on his own.
His evolution, Kumamon had the powerful ice attacks that came in handy many times durning the season. As a Digimon, Tommy was not scared of anything and felt that he could do anything. Now, even without the powers of Kumamon, Tommy still feels this way about himself.
Tommy has grown up a lot, attitude wise, since the start of the season. But whose not to say that he was not already making grown-up choices right form the start? True, it was not his choice to get on that train to go to the digital world, but he was on the train's platform to start with, so he had already made the choice to go that far. The choice to go and discover his destiny. |
