Another game that we have been playing from the beginning, Planetarion is another very good game on the internet. If you are getting bored of playing Shadowmere, we would advise you sign up for this, as it has become quite popular amongst our group. Planetarion is based around the theme of owning a space empire with asteroids as your means of resources. The game is not turn-based either, it's time-based. That is to do anything, instead of taking turns, you construct and research items like you would in the real world. Some of us have said that this provides more realistic gameplay, but others (like myself for one), say that this just takes up time, and slows down your progress. When you start you are placed in a galaxy with 24 other people (25 total). It is a good idea to get to know these people, and make yourself an active part, as character interaction is an important part of this game, the more you help your allies, the more likely you will recieve help back.
What you can build depends on what you have researched. As you research more things, you can build better ships, and thus take more asteroids from a player when you attack them. On the point of asteroids, you begin the game with 1, and I would suggest putting this in crystal, it will come in handy later on. Unfortunatly the game is prone to slow server speeds, but this does not affect gameplay too much. Sometimes there are glitches in the system that mess up the game, but these happen once in a blue moon, so I would'nt worry about it much. All in all a very good game.
