Many of us know of the web hosting service called Tripod. As many of you know I used to host using Tripod and I am here to tell you why Tripod sucks so you dont make the same mistakes as I did [Dr. G is there for you!!]. In Grade 7 I got a Tripod account and it was all good until tis kid who was jelous of this guy I hate [somehow he thought we were friends, when I even dissed the kid out who he thought was my friend he'd tried (and failed) to dis me], Anyways for crazy/confusing reasons he didn't like me. So he went to my Tripod site and clicked the "Report Abuse" link that tripod put there and my site was deleted without notice! I asked them what I did to get my site removed and they evaded telling me what I did. I founf out why this was so after some ieie kid did this again after I got my site back and I already has geocities [A/K/A A real hosting site!] and I just put a link to my new site there so my loayal fans would know where to find my new URL. My Tripod account got taken off again. I figured out the reason why they never told me the reason why my site got taken off is because there was even one [a reason that is]! So if you want to use Tripod to host yur site here are the consequences:
1. If someone who doesn't like you or is jealous of your site [in my case] wants to delete it all they have to do is fill out a phony "Report Abuse" form and Tripod's server will automatically delete it! I guess Tripod made it computerized so that when a report abuse form was filled out with your username your Tripdo account will automatically be removed.
2. You will have to put up with a crappy hosting service that Spam's your inbox as well.
