Cheats & Codes
1.Place the item that you want duplicated as your sixth item on your list. 2.Talk to old man in Viridian City (the old man who was blocking your way at beginning of game) and answer 'no' to his question. 3.After he's done, fly to Cinnabar Island or to Fushia City and surf to Seafoam Island. 4.If you chose to fly to Cinnabar, surf along right coast of Cinnabar until you find Missing No. and kill him or run away. If you went to Seafoam surf along right coast and when you see Missing No. kill him or run away. DO NOT CATCH MISSING NO. he will glitch your game. M also duplicates items and and he's also a glitch. Finding Safari Zone Pokemon in normal game 1.Enter Safari Zone and waist your 500 steps. 2.When you are kicked out go, to Cinnabar or Seafoam Island and surf along right coast. Over Level 100 Pokemon Do steps 2-3 in duplicating items. You can catch in BLUE Golduck and in RED Snorlax and Golbat. Harder Hitting Attacks Hold the 'A' button when you do your attack and it will do more damage. Better Chance of Catching Pokemon When pokeball is released hold 'up' and 'b' buttons. Stronger Pokemon Beat the Elite Four over and over again (you don't have to, but they are the best way to get the most experience for your Pokemon) till your Pokemon is at level 100. If your Pokemon's level is to low win, put it to first on your line up, switch Pokemon, beat it and both Pokemon will get experience. It may take a while, but it's worth it!!!!!! Your Pokemon will have higher HP, Attack, Defense, Speed, and Special then if you would have raised it with Rare Candies. Where to find Mewtwo After you have beaten the Elite Four, fly or walk to Curilian City, go North on Nugget Bridge (where you got a nugget for beating 5 trainers and a member of Team Rocket), go to left side of the bridge and Surf south until you see some land. Get out of water and go into a cave know as the Unkown Dungeon. Wander around in the cave untill you find Mewtwo and use one of your Master Balls to catch him. Fishing somewhere either then water Try fishing in a statue in a gym. Finding Gary and Geovanni in Silph Co. After you have the key go to the 3rd floor, that is where the right teleport pad is! Also talk to the guy in the room with you when you find Gary. He will give you a Lapras. After you beat Gary go to the south teleport pad and battle Giovanni. After you have beaten him talk to the man on couch or chair (owner of Silph Co.) and he will give you a Master Ball. Duplicating Pokemon You need 2 Pokemon games, 2 Game Boys and a game link cable. 1.Both of you go to the Trade Centre. 2.You or your friend bring the Pokemon that you want to be duplicated and the other person bring a Pokemon to be DELETED. 3.Trade the good Pokemon (the one you want duplicated) for the bad one (the one who is going to be deleted). 4.The person receiving the bad one, turn of your Game Boy when waiting (the waiting screen while the trade is in progress) and turn the Game Boy off when it dissapears, and then the other person turns off their Game Boy after. Then you will both have the Pokemon. IN Pokemon YELLOW you can also duplicate Pokemon. Standing on a tree 1.Cut down a tree and stand where the tree was. 2.Save game and turn off Game Boy. 3.Turn on game again, and go to your game file and you will be on a tree. Getting Free Coins at Game Corner Walk around pressing the 'A' button and talk to everybody. Get Rich Fast Duplicate your nugget(s) and sell them in Poke Marts. Get Bicycle If you have visited the Bike store and ask how much the bikes cost and found out that you can't carry a million bucks, don't worry! A bike isn't nessisary, but it makes the game easy! Just go to Vermillion City, go to the Pokemon Fan Club metting, and listen to him babbled on about his favorite Pokemon he will give you a bike voucher. Go to the bike store and talk to the owner and now you have a bike! How to get Charmander, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur First of all you need 2 Game Boys, 2 Pokemon games, and a Game Link Cable. 1.Start the game and let's say you chooses Charmander, then the other persons also starts a new game and let's say chooses Squirtle. 2.You or your friend can trade your Starter Pokemon to each other. 3.The person who traded away their starter then starts their game over and let's say chooses Bulbasaur. 4.Then the person with Bulbasaur goes to the Trade Centre, and trades him to the other person with Charmander and Squirtle. And then so both people can have all 3 starters you can clone or duplicate them. Mystery PC In Celadon, I think, go to the Hotel thanks looks kind of like the Poke Centre, and and go and face to where the PC would be and press the 'A' button. How to get Gold Teeth, Surf, and Strength Go to Safari Zone, and go to Mystery House and get Surf, and just outside is the Warden's Gold Teeth. Return them to him and he will give you Strength. How to get all 3 Fishing Rods 1.Old Rod: Vermillion City (next to Pokemon Fan Club) 2.Good Rod: Fushia City (next to Warden's House) 3.Super Rod: Silence Bridge (boardwalk) How to get Eevee Go to Celadon City, go behind all the building like the Poke Centre. Go into the back entrance of the building that you met the creator and Mr. know it all. Walk up all the stairs until you are on the roof, and go and talk the the guy in the pent house, and then he will give you Eevee. You can evolve Eevee into Jolteon (lighting stone) Vaporeon (water stone) or Flareon (fire stone). Island with Car If you don't get cut (HM1), but instead get trade a Pokemon which already knows cut and beat the game you can go back to the S.S. Anne and surf to the left, you will find a car. NOTE: MEW or any other pokemon isn't there! Man on roof 1.Go to Cinnabar and talk to the old man. 2.Surf a long the right coast and go beside the house. You will see the old man on the roof. NOTE: It's just a glitch. Where to find the Lendgendary Birds 1.Moltres: Indigeau Plateau 2.Zapdos: The Power Plant 3.Articuno: Seafoam Island How to skip trainers in Blaine's Gym Go to the boxes in the corner of the room and answer a question on Pokemon right. If you get it wrong, you have to face that trainer. Extra HP, attack, defense, speed and special points 1. Beat the Elite Four with the Pokemon that you want to be improved. 2. After the credits go back into your game and when you start you will be at Ash's house. Talk to Ash's mom (she will heal your pokemon). 3. Fly to Cirulean City and get your Pokemon healed at the Pokecentre. 4. Deposit the Pokemon you beat the Elite Four with into Bill's PC. 5. Withdraw the Pokemon and there you go, extra HP, attack, defense, speed, and special points! If you've used rare candy to raise your Pokemon, it will gain 23 points in each category. If you've used experience points to get your Pokemon to Level 100, your Pokemon will only get 13 extra points. Bicycle Music without riding a Bike 1. When you are in the caves on the seafoam islands, ride your bike and you will hear the bike music. 2. Now fall down a hole while still on the bike. 3. You won't be on your bike but you will still hear the bike music! It stops when you press start.
