D.O...DeltaOmicron...1909
	Delta Omicron was founded in 1909 by three young women at the Cincinnnati Conservatory of Music. Lorena Creamer McClure, Mable Dunn Hopkins, and Hazel Wilson Bowsman. It was the first organization of it's kind to be established for students by students. Delta Omicron is Professional Music Fraternity with collegeiate and alumni chapter across the United States as well as abroad. Gamma Beta Chapter was chartered at Morris Brown College on February 18, 1973 by eleven illustrious ladies of professional musicianship.Gamma Beta is a predominately female chapter of Delta Omicron. Our brothers in music on Morris Brown's Campus are the men of Kappa Beta Chapter of Phi Mu Alpha. Gamma Beta Chapter extends membership to any young lady who strives for musical excellence.
