Alumni President, Mike Bunn and the webmaster, Larry Turrin, joined the three undergraduates for a day at Supreme Chapter held in Washington, D.C. While the undergraduates had their meetings, Mike and Larry met with Tom Atwood of the National Office along with attending several presentations on the Housing Corporation and Alumni Chapter policies and procedures.
The bottom line is that the trip was well worth it. The Alumni Association is in the process of getting full recognition from National and moving from Association status to full Chapter status. We have set a goal to Charter Gamma Gamma by Homecoming 2002. We are also in the process of beginning the new Housing Corporation at Gamma Gamma. Our biggest goal is to begin an in depth Alumni Correspondence Program with the Assistance of the National office and/or a local program sponsored by TSU. A lot is on the horizon and we hope you make plans to see us at Homecoming 2002. |
