The proposal for the new Greek Row requires each Chapter to demonstrate their organizational structure and the financial backing of 10% ($60K) of the required cost to build the new home. These funds will be controlled by each Housing Corporation.
The $60K will only be used in the event that the undergraduate Chapter fails to fill the house (as per the contract that is signed) or they cause damage to the house which require repairs. We have also been approved for a loan of up to $35K through PKP Properties. This will allow us to go forward and commit to TSU. The loan is the form of a committment letter to TSU. This is acceptable to TSU and allows us some breathing room to continue with our fund drive. Once the loan is taken, interest starts accumulating and our goal will become much higher.
