Halloween 2004

Vamp Chick!

Last year, after being burned by Wal-Mart because I didn't get chosen for any of the three places for the costume contest (do I have an ego or what? no really, I just put a lot of effort into that outfit... grr...), I decided I was NOT going to be there for Halloween this year. So this year I went to The Castle, a club in Ybor City. Only the second time I've been there, and I had a lot of fun. Yes, I even got out there and danced, dressed like that. Of course after three drinks, and when I didn't feel like I was going to fall over :) I only have one pic of my outfit, and I'm not even wearing the pleather jacket... I can always get dressed up again and take more pics ;)

Got that skirt and jacket on ebay for about $3. The shirt I got along with another skirt for about $6 I think. Go ebay! The wig is from last year, I wanted to buy a new one but didn't have the money after I had to get new tires for my car. I wore my glasses this year because it helps to balance out my features on my face a little bit. I wanted to get non-prescription glasses and wear my yellow contacts with them... so maybe next year I'll do that. I had black nails, with glow in the dark nail polish over that, though there weren't any blacklights there (surprisingly) to make them stand out.

The night I went to The Castle was "Guava Eve," the night before one of the biggest events in the Tampa Bay area, called Guavaween. It's like Mardi Gras and Halloween mashed together... I would like to go, but probably not dressed up like this. I've heard it's a pretty wild night. Anyways here's a pic of a guy dressed like a pirate or Musketeer... not sure exactly. He was probably dressed for Halloween / Guava Eve, but for all I know he did this just for the hell of it (I know I would)!

And here's a pic of me after I got home. Hadn't taken off my makeup yet, and I was quite tired... See the fangs?

That was it this year, unless I find something to do Saturday or Sunday. Next year I'll try to enter a costume contest somewhere! Screw Wal-Mart ;)
