Who is Garcelle Beauvais?  Garcelle is an extremely talented actress and model originally from St. Marc, Haiti.  She is the youngest of five sisters and has two brothers.  While very young, Garcelle immigrated to the US with the rest of her family.  She learned english from watching Sesame Street and was the only black student in her elementary school.  At age 17, she began modeling at the encouragment of friends and family.  She soon was signed with the Ford agency in New York and appeared in many high profile gigs. 

As an actress she's been in everything from Miami Vice to Wild Wild West.   Currently, she can be seen on the WB's "The Jamie Foxx Show" where she is garnering much praise and attention for her portrayal of Francesca "Fancy" Monroe.
