Why do I call myself gardengym?

For many years, I spent time at the local gym, burning calories, but doing nothing useful.

Today, my garden is my gym. Staying in shape and tending the growies are my hobbies.

The DW and I are empty-nesters. Our house and gardens are on a few acres in Zone 7, western Piedmont, North Carolina.
