To All Palm Beach Gardens Residents:

The PGA Corridor Residents Coalition has just been notified by the City that
representatives for the Borland Center development have informed Growth
Management that they wish to revise their application regarding the proposed
project, and therefore instead of the planned full Public Hearing on July 8,
the matter will be "continued" to a later date. Written confirmation of this
change has just been received from the City's Growth Management Department.

The Coalition has been given to understand that the matter will not be
addressed other than to indicate that the applicant is submitting a revised
proposal, and that a future full public hearing will be rescheduled for a
later date. The letter from the City indicates that neither the Growth
Management Department staff nor the applicant will be giving presentations
to the Commission, however if anyone from the Public, "…would like to
speak…you may request to do so from the Planning and Zoning Commission
Chairperson."

As soon as a new date has been set for the Public Hearing, notice will be posted on this web site, and the Coalition will look forward to everyone's continued support
to bring our efforts to a successful conclusion which is to ensure that
whatever is finally developed at the site in question is in keeping with the
City's own Comprehensive Plan and compatible with the surrounding area.
