An inexpensive, electronically controlled valve

This is a standard 3/4" ball-valve connected to a brushless DC motor and control unit. It provides proportional control for water flow. The controller accepts position commands through a serial interterface and delivers feedback and diagnostic information via the same cable. Currently it operates from a 9v DC supply.
